About Us



The Veterinary Specialty Practice Alliance (VSPA), established in 1999, is a not-for-profit association representing approximately 20 veterinary specialty hospitals working in private practice throughout the United States and Internationally. Membership includes owners, administrators and doctors of these facilities. The VSPA is a collective voice for issues related to specialty veterinary medicine that includes the sharing of best practices related to hospital management and patient care.

About Veterinary Specialty Practice Alliance

The purpose of this alliance is to be leaders in and advance the delivery of specialty veterinary services. We are a defined membership of veterinary specialty hospitals where members actively participate in creating benchmarks and tools through communication and collaboration. In addition we focus on educating pet owners about specialty veterinary medicine and promoting the benefits of referral to primary care practitioners.
